Summary: Exceptional stay at the Hyatt in Addis Ababa! The concierge staff were truly outstanding—assisting seamlessly with all of our transportation arrangements and offering excellent recommendations that made our visit so much easier and more enjoyable. The front desk team was equally impressive, accommodating an early check-in after a long journey and providing helpful suggestions for things to do and see in the city. The level of service was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Addis!

Summary: Look, the property is clean and beautiful but the staff who work in the bar and cocktail are terrible! What makes a hotel stay great is not just the amenities and property which is top of the line but the people/staff which was one of the worst I have ever seen! Imagine waiting with your partner for more than an hour to get a beer or a cocktail or a macchiato! And then wait another 30 minutes after you order for the order to show up. Yeah, it happened every time we were there (5 days). Once awhile a gap in customer experience is okay, it happens! But this was consistently bad! I could tell by just watching how the staff in the bars/cafes are run, deep rooted bad customer service culture; lack of urgency and care every corner. Very disappointed, I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency. From the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming, professional, and helpful. The check-in process was smooth and well organized. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, and very well managed. We especially appreciated the excellent service and the friendly attitude of all the staff. Our stay was truly comfortable and stress-free. We highly recommend Hyatt Regency to anyone visiting Addis Ababa and will definitely stay here again in the future.
